At Run Mummy Run we are passionate about inspiring our children to lead healthy lifestyles and take after their mum’s by getting involved in running. Our charity partner Kids Run Free organises fun, running based activities for children in their local parks and schools. Kids’ Marathon is recruiting schools in Leicestershire:
Kids Marathon is an exciting project that aims to give school children the opportunity to complete a marathon throughout the course of the school year by running laps of a course, set up by KRF on the school playing field or playground.
This project is now starting its third year and is going from strength to strength. This year KRF plan to have 40 schools across the country taking part in the initiative, 17 of these schools have already launched and another 13 are scheduled to launch very soon.
For schools in Leicestershire we have the opportunity to offer four schools FREE places on the Kids’ Marathon program in return for taking part in a research project headed by Loughborough University. All you need to do is contact your child’s school and let them know you would like them to get involved.

Kids Run Free urgently needs volunteers:
Kids Run Free organises free running races for children in parks and green spaces in towns and cities across the UK. These are free events for 0-16 year olds.
They are looking for committed people that would like to work with children to deliver their Brighton event at Easthill Park, Portslade, Brighton. These events happen every first Saturday of the month at 9am.
